Hi, I’m Danielle and I’m the founder and owner of Goldspun Support which I started in 2014 as Spinning Plates Business Support. I have practical management skills, logistical and analytical experience as well as the more creative, marketing side of the business. I am professional, personal, friendly and most of all helpful. Let me help you find the perfect way for Goldspun Support to support your business.
I know, as a business owner myself, that it’s important that the person you choose to work with- and the person you choose to trust your business to - is someone you can connect with and trust so I want to tell you a bit more about me and my background.
I am an incredibly committed and passionate person, Goldspun Support is a founder led business which means that as well as being the CEO I am also working in the business so you can benefit from my years of experience and expertise committed to and passionate about your business and your clients.
Goldspun Support, formally operating as Spinning Plates Business Support, was designed by me specifically to support business owners to ensure that they never felt stress, burnout and overwhelm and I am confident in saying that over the last ten years that is what I have done. Over the time I have been operating the business has evolved - you can read more about that on the blog page (and get to know more about me, how I think and operate and unique tone of voice) to the Goldspun Support that you see today - a full service business offering unbeatable support for Fractional Directors, weaving together their big picture with the necessary smaller steps. We offer a unique blend of skills and expertise that can help any Independent or Fractional CXO take flight.
My Career Path
It might also help you to know a little more about my career path before starting Goldspun Support because that corporate experience gave me the building blocks of the unbeatable service I offer today, so here’s a brief summary:
Customer Service Department in Bacardi Martini - teaching me the value of customer relationships
Logistics for Bacardi Martini and then for Boots - project management, reporting and database creation, event organisation
Freelance as a magazine editor for a UK wide warehouse closure programme- copy, design, content generation, proof reading and production/distribution
A long term role in Creative management which is brand building and guardianship. Wide range of marketing streams and mediums including colour, photography, copy and layout covering 2D, 3D, instore and online.
My Specific Skills…
Experience in large, corporate environments - I know the way business and marketing work with a practical, down to earth attitude that can help you make decisions and make progress as well as understanding how to navigate relationships at every level.
Experience in a number of small, independent businesses - so I’m used to having a role where you do a little bit of everything (and I’m good at it too)!
Further experience of Marketing across multiple channels and mediums - from using ecommerce platforms to leverage SEO & advertising, to a recognised qualification in social media management. I understand the strategy and functionality of marketing to offer a full end to end service.
Tech savvy and awareness of platforms that started with Microsoft Excel and has expanded to included CRM systems such as Active Campaign, Zoho and Mailchimp and Web Development Sites such as Squarespace, WordPress and Shopify.
Passionate about bringing strong brands to life - whether that’s writing content on your website, blogs or social media; auditing the consistency of your brand presence; creating a strong graphic representation or a host of other things I know how to create strength and identity for your business that will ensure it thrives.
Vast experience of Project Management, from managing single projects with multiple stakeholders and activity streams; to navigating multiple client work streams at one time. I know the tools and bandwidth it takes to make sure everything happens when and how it should.
